This website adheres as closely as possible to the Web Accessibility Guidelines, published by the World Wide Web Consortium W3C group, and the UK Government's guidelines in the Disability Discrimination Act (1995).
Appearance
This site has been developed using XHTML, PHP and CSS which allows visually impaired users to navigate and experience the site content without restrictions by the layout.
Some visitors may find it necessary to increase or decrease the size of the text appearing on screen. This can be achieved by:
Apple Mac - holding the 'Apple' key, then pressing + or - to alter the font size.
Internet Explorer - Hold the 'CTRL' key, then pressing + or - to alter the font size.
Links
Many links have title attributes which describe the link in greater detail, unless the text of the link already fully describes the target (such as the headline of an article).
Links are written to make sense out of context.
Images
All content images used in this site include descriptive ALT attributes. Purely decorative graphics include null ALT attributes.
Flash
An alternative is provided for non-Flash supporting browsers.
