I was already getting some paid work experience during my holidays, so knew this was a great place to learn about finance. And, as I speak four languages, I also wanted to work for a global company with many different cultures so those skills wouldn’t go to waste.

After starting out in a temp role in Commissions, I moved on to my current role working on the Fund Launch team, helping to pull together all the relevant information needed, from setting timetables to liaising with different teams and organising the pre-financing. During my time here, I’ve really learnt the importance of the role and how vital our work is to others.

But I wouldn’t enjoy it so much if it wasn’t for the people. Everyone is willing to help and it’s a really easy going and friendly environment. I keep fit with a few of them and often go for drinks in the evening – it’s a really good place for getting the balance between work and life right.

In the future I’d love to see different business areas and also to work abroad. And I’m confident that Man will help me realise these ambitions and continue to offer me interesting opportunities for my career.
