We currently have permanent and internship opportunities for postgraduates in our AHL Research group, based at our Man Research Laboratory in Oxford. AHL - Fundamental Researcher - Oxford
The role involves research, design and development of quantitative models that predict price movements in financial instruments, using fundamental data from both financial and macroeconomic sources. A self-motivated, dynamic individual with good computing and data analysis skills, you will have the opportunity to apply and test theories from macro and financial economics, and to develop your interests in quantitative modelling and trading. You should be enthused by the challenge and responsibility that goes with contributing to the expansion and development of a new, exciting and fast-growing component of our business.
AHL – Quantitative Research Analyst - Oxford
Contributing to AHL’s ongoing quantitative finance research programmes, this challenging research position is ideal for self-motivated individuals who want the opportunity to influence business practice, while also applying statistical, mathematical and data modelling techniques. As well as researching trading model development, market microstructure analysis, electronic trading of derivatives, portfolio optimisation, risk and transaction cost analysis, you’ll also apply techniques from non-finance disciplines such as engineering, signal processing and the applied sciences.
