Your development
Your initial development will be geared around a combination of tailored and on-the-job training, designed to give you a detailed overview of our industry. With the benefit of continuous mentoring and support, you will interact with every level of the business, and be involved in critical projects along the way.
To get you started, our comprehensive induction will include a grounding course in hedge funds, followed by technical training specific to your area. At the same time, we will work on developing your soft skills, through courses covering communication and influencing, presentation and time management.
In addition, we operate an educational assistance programme that supports employees in studying for approved external qualifications, such as CFA or IMC.
You will also join the AHL new joiner rotational plan, which offers you the chance to meet people within the team, to gain exposure to the different areas in AHL and to see first-hand how we trade markets. Spending time within all of the core AHL functions through a structured mix of on and off-the-job learning and development, you will enjoy real responsibility and a genuine opportunity to make an impact on our business from day one.
